Care Guide

Care guide

Always read and keep the manufacturer's instructions that come in the box: they are the authority on how to use, clean and store your appliance safely. The notes below are general good practice and never replace them.

Kitchen appliances

Unplug an appliance and let it cool before cleaning it. Wipe outer surfaces with a damp cloth and never put the main unit or its base in water. Descale kettles and coffee machines regularly if you live in a hard-water area, empty and clean crumb trays and drip trays, and wash removable jugs, bowls and blades only in the way the maker's instructions allow. Empty dehumidifier water tanks and clean filters as the manufacturer recommends.

Garden machines

Remove the battery from a cordless garden tool before cleaning it, clearing a blockage or storing it, and charge batteries only with a compatible charger. Store tools and batteries indoors, somewhere dry and frost-free. Gas pizza ovens are for outdoor use only: follow the maker's instructions on gas connection, keep children and pets away while the oven is hot, and let it cool completely before covering or storing it.
